Tips & Techniques 10: Aprons

a
Chef's aprons, craft aprons, gardening aprons... I like them all. So, when I began to draw an apron, I thought I should create an image ready for the greatest variety of design and color options. With the design work done and an apron stamp in hand, the fun begins.

One of my favorite ways to embellish a stamped image is by doing what I call "black line work". Using a fine waterproof pen, I start to draw again - circles, dots, dashes, lines, etc. No rulers used here, just slow and steady with a little practice thrown in. It's easier than you think. I also like to
stamp the Itty Bitty Cherries.
